I know not many were around to remember but in the 60's and early 70's when the Bruins were the most hated bunch Johnny Pie Mckenzie and Turk Sanderson were the biggest villains. They brought out the hate everywhere they played. Mckenzie started plenty of sh-t with his style. Another guy from back then who garnered plenty of hate was Terry Harper of Montreal. He was always involved. Something like Bugsy Watson who was already mentioned. All were effective players with Sanderson and Mckenzie being major parts of the Cup winners.
