And look at the uproar - and that was at a low level. The fallout from that shows it will never happen again. Authorities would never allow it to happen at a high level. The reaction to that from all of football shows there is no place for franchises in European football.
MK Dons are hated for what happened and all football fans in Europe detest the franchise system. Europe does not have a franchise system. MK Dons have no history, they stole from another club and their fans.
The Dons are the only team in Europe who can be labelled a franchise because they cheated the system.
The franchise system doesn't have movement of leagues and no-one in Europe would ever go for it. Rewards need to be earned, not handed out.
