I grew up listening to Connolly calling AHL games in Halifax and then later on calling the Mooseheads games. He was very well liked for his infectious personalty. Know for being a public address announcer for the Halifax Mooseheads until his retirement three years ago. The press box at the Halifax Metro Centre now bears his name.

Pat was a next door neighbour to the family when we lived in Sydney , he was one of the PPL that would do anything for you , my stepfather and him where great friends , he will be missed by every one that knew him ..
