Seriously though, it's the Christmas season; people buy gifts for others and others ask people what they want. If you don't believe in the concept you don't have to participate, but there seem to be a couple Scrooge McFukkfaces on here (the usual high horse folks) who feel this pressing need to inform us all how they are superior or somehow all-self-providing and we're not. I buy gifts for people and like getting gifts in return at Christmas. If I want an iPhone 4 as a back to school gift for myself, I'll buy it. If I want a jacket for Christmas, I'll ask for it.

I don't mind getting presents for others but I won't make out a wish list. It just seems juvenile. It pisses my wife off every year when she asks what I want and I say i don't want anything.
