Funny I came across this thread though, I just got my first suspension in beer leagues in 3 years.. a team kept running our goalie and the 3rd time our goalie jumped on him, everyone piled in and our goalie was at the bottom... his helmet came off and he was on the ice with his jersey rolled up and his ribs were vulnerable, the little rat who ran him in the first place speared him right in the ribs and no one saw... so I grabbed him and took off his bucket quick and landed 3 good ones before the linesmen tackled me... I got a game per punch, sucks I had to miss 3 weeks but it was just one of those scenarios where something had to be done.
