Kind of this. I know I'll end up with the obligatory socks and gloves etc. My youngest kids will get me some trinkets from the "Santas Workshop" they have at school... usually they pick whatever says "Dad" on it. I think last year it was a money clip, an ornament for the tree, and a non- working pen. My wife and I will pretty much tell each other what to get. This year she wants the iphone5 ( luckily have an upgrade available) and I need some new boots - preferably Timberland Earth Keepers. It's really all about the kids. On a related note I was able to easily snag a wii u deluxe set when they came out. My 7 year old decided that was a must have, after the pre orders stopped.
Ps. phila.... Your dad sounds like he'd be fun to have a beer with. I'm picturing A cross between John Wayne and the Fonz. Is his GF hot?
