I had to be away longer than I thought with the last round of surgery. One of the posts dug into my upper lip and we had a complication. Everything is alright and will start the next round on Dec. 7.
I will be here until then and hopefully, I won't be down as long this time.
To all those who come here to post or to read, I wish for you and your families,
We might not have hockey, but, I am thankful for the great bunch of people we have here, who came together as a result of their love for the game of hockey. As much as anyone, I wish we had the season underway and commenting on events that have happened or memories an event triggered.
From what I heard today, the sides are still miles apart. There is nothing we can do about that. The only thing we can do is continue to post here and share our feelings and opinions with those who share our love of hockey. I am thankful for at least having that.
AGAIN, HAPPY THANKSGIVING.
(This includes all of our Canadian friends, also).
Leave it all on the ice. Don't hold anything back.
