Yeah, the bullet that ripped through his jaw and fractures the vertebrae in his neck look to have done a bit more damage than initially thought.

They've got some testing going on as we speak, and will have the results back in a few hours to determine whether he's truly brain dead or not.

EDIT: results are back, and he is officially brain dead.
