Churla was awesome. He just couldn't say no or stand by and not get involved. Like you I had a horrible feeling when he was going at Grimson and I think he was told not to fight but fight is what a warrior does. When he came back he had a nice scrap with Thornton on Montreal and I am just thinking "This guy can't be serious" as I see them talking on the face off. The usual excitement when watching a fight was gone at that point as I just feared for Churla's well being. Obviously as his career goes he belongs nowhere near this thread but at that time when he was fighting with a broken face it was scary. Talk about someone I would want to be in a foxhole with.
