Simmonds departs. Citing family reasons, Flyers forward
Wayne Simmonds is leaving the Liberec Tigers and returning home, according to his team's website. It is not known if the racial taunts he received in the Czech Republic a little over two weeks ago had anything to do with his decision.
Simmonds' departure came on the same day of reports that eight fans _ who allegedly chanted racial taunts at the winger _ will be charged with disorderly conduct and defamation of a nation, race or ethnic group.
