Aside for the lack of flag flying, I participated in 5k charity race for fallen soldiers and the turn out was atrocious. Yes hold the jokes, my gimpy ass did run in this race, not nearly as fast or pretty as I use to run.

I guess to answer this question, I would say Nevada has a ton of apathy about issues the rest of the country holds true. Ask a local evadan about any civic issue and you will likely get a.........meh don't really follow that.

Not really trying to go anywhere. I mean not flying the flag is one thing but not paying any thanks is another...just trying to gauge how ungrateful they are.
You may wonder why I'm not being a dick to you like I have been accused of being to phila26 and simply I cut you more slack. I see you like that cop in Crash played by Matt Dillon...sure he's a bit racist but at his core he just wants to help people. You put your life on the line when you put on the badge so if you wanna give people sh*t for something I have much more of an ear for it then some punk kid who doesn't know his ass from a hole in the ground.
It's no secret that North Americans are so wrapped up in their own lives that they barely know what's going on around them let alone what happened 60-70 years ago.
See I don't mind if people don't want to give thanks if they are making that decision based off information/knowledge. When they are just ignorantly walking around being ungrateful it picks at my last nerve.
Like I had mentioned before. November 11 is a tough day for me. I give thanks and am grateful for what the troops have done (The Canadians were bad ass troops in WWll and I am very proud of them) and are willing to do for my freedom. However I don't believe in what they are doing now. I believe they are put in a crappy situation and it sucks.
