The corporation I work for has made record sales of over a BILLION dollars and record profits of well over 100 MILLION the last 3 years yet they continue to cut it's work force, have held back pay raises for 5 straight years and cut back on our pensions and health care every time a contract comes up. And you feel the owners in the NHL are doing the same thing to the players? The players who make more in a year
to play a game than you'll make in 10 years doing whatever you do? The guys who make more in an 8 year career
to play a game than police officers and fire fighters will get in 20 years to save peoples lives?
You really believe the players are being cheated by their bosses and owners the same way you are by yours? You really believe that cutting back the salaries of people who make hundreds of thousands and millions of dollars is akin to cutting back the salaries of people who make tens of thousands of dollars?
