The
St. John's IceCaps, in conjunction with television broadcast partner Rogers TV, announced today their 2012-13 broadcast schedule.
Twenty IceCaps games will appear live on Rogers TV this season throughout Newfoundland and Labrador, beginning with the home opener this Friday, October 19 against the
Adirondack Phantoms. The second game of the series against the Phantoms on Saturday, October 20 will also be broadcast live on Rogers TV.
Four of the IceCaps’ first six home games will be shown live on Rogers TV. Also included are Tuesday, October 23 versus the
Portland Pirates and Saturday, October 27 versus the
Norfolk Admirals.
Other notable live broadcasts include two games against the
Hamilton Bulldogs (Tuesday, November 20 and Friday, March 15) and two contests versus the
Toronto Marlies (Friday, January 11 and Friday, April 5). The home finale, on Sunday, April 14 against the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, will also be shown live.
The remaining 18 home games will be shown on tape delay the following day.
