The
Rochester Americans announced today that Time Warner Cable SportsChannel will televise 16 regular season Amerks games during the 2012-13 American Hockey League season, including 14 home games and two road games, in Rochester and Buffalo.
The televised home games will be simulcast with the Amerks radio broadcasts, as Hall of Fame play-by-play broadcaster Don Stevens, the Voice of the Amerks now entering his 27th season with the club, will be joined by color analyst and former Sabre
Ric Seiling in the broadcast booth. For the second straight season, 13 WHAM Sports Director Mike Catalana will join Stevens and Seiling on air as host of the television broadcasts.
For the two road games scheduled to be televised in the market, the home team's play-by-play feed will be used. Amerks fans will still be able to listen to Stevens call the game on radio.

Time Warner Cable SportsNet will also broadcast the 2013 AHL Skills Competition and AHL All-Star Classic on Jan. 27-28 from Providence, R.I., in both the Rochester and Buffalo markets. In addition, the AHL announced that the Amerks' road game at Toronto on Saturday, Oct. 13 will be televised nationally in Canada on Sportsnet ONE.
