Gillies admitted he was afraid of Wilson after the beating and had to be prompted to fight him again by his friend Nystrom. Revisionist history isn't something that will fly around here. Nobody on the Islanders wanted Wilson, that's why he roughed up Bossy. Because he could.

As far as Fotiu goes, who knows if he would have done anything against Hoyda? Its not like Fotiu fought much ever. Maybe if Hoyda was a rookie.... Fotiu was a tiger against rookies.
