I know exactly what you mean about sticking out in the south. When we go to FLA during the winter, I wear shorts and T shirts the whole time. They are freezing at 65 degrees. Up here we wear shorts until about December!

That being said, I like Atlanta. Most anywhere you go in the city limits, you and your buds will be about the only white people in there. But it doesn't matter, most people are used to it, and nobody seems to care. Hooters will give you Jungle Fever.
It's the opposite of Pittsburgh when it comes to sports. In Pitt, everybody is a Pittsburgh sports fan. In Atlanta, everybody is a fan of other city's teams because they have so many transplants.
Just stay away from Six Flags when school is out.
and nobody where I live thinks 65 degrees is cold. Then again, it's get's in the teens here in the winter.
