MOLINE, Ill. (October 4, 2012) - The Quad City Mallards
of the "AA" Central Hockey League today announced they have re-signed left wing Obi Aduba. Per club policy, no contract terms were announced.
Aduba, 28, returns for a fourth season with the Mallards after scoring 12 goals and totaling 31 points in 64 games last year.
"Obi brings a lot to the table both on and off the ice so we're very happy to welcome him back to the Mallards," said Mallards coach and general manager Terry Ruskowski
. "He's a hard working, tough, physical player who can score goals and get the job done in his own end. He's also someone who will stand up for his teammates when he needs to and is a quality character guy to have in the locker room."
Over his first three campaigns in the Quad Cities, Aduba produced 46 goals and 110 points in 206 games. The Medfield, Massachusetts, native has demonstrated unrivaled durability and toughness since first joining the Mallards- Aduba has missed just two regular season games over the last three years.
