A majority of the players fighting in junior hockey are adults, by law. I understand a lot of 18 year old's don't think or act like adults but they are still considered that. A majority of the fighting is done by 18, 19 and 20 year old's. From my point of view, it would be a disservice to the players to ban fighting as long as it still exists in the pro's, including the NHL.
They said on the sports news this morning(1290 CJBK) that the AHL and other minor pro leagues are going to keep a close eye on this rule on fighting in the CHL , dont be surprised if they implement the same rule in the near future ..
