Leave it to you to blow it waaaaay out of proportion because you hate Penn State. Everyone knows what the men in power at the school did wrong and no one is denying it. The only people who keep bringing up old news is YOU and other PSU haters who get your rocks off on others' misery. Well get this: it's still a major university, the school year is going on as scheduled, parties will be thrown, parties will be busted, classes will be skipped in lieu of ski trips, and thousands of students will graduate this year with PSU degrees. Part of the process is the football season.
There are new powers in charged who will ensure those heinous crimes will never happen again, and the school is on hypersensitive alert for anything that may reflect badly on it. Some people believe Joe Paterno was the ringleader, while others believe he knew a little bit but probably enough to expose a cover up, while a very small minority still believe he knew nothing at all.
