I confess I didn't pay the guy a bit of attention until he landed on the Sens. As I understand it he was holding out to get a roster spot on a team that would give him ice time and a chance to prove himself, not so much for money.
A bunch of the young players stayed in Ottawa this summer to keep working out under the team trainers, Turris is one of them. I have a hard time seeing Turris as a me-first bad guy, but of course I'm a blind Sens homer
