I think the Rough Riders were named the Senators before the Rough Riders. Sask had the Roughriders in '24. I think the nicknames were fairly close in years...
Anyway, Durrant had 3 picks and not all were his fault. The fairweather fans in Sask are gonna have a field day. Getzlaf cant catch this year. Sheets didnt have the greatest of games, but when the fans bark "pass" the Riders ask, "How much?". Im not turning on any form of media today so I dont have to listen to all these bleacher coaches. Its easy to coach from the stands... I always say, when August come around, everyone in Sask is a football coach... too bad most of them know nothing.

I think the Riders are going to turn it around. I must say, no love loss for the Riders, but I like Darian Durant. I think he is a great quarterback that gets a lot of flak because of where he plays.
The Football team here was inexplicably named the "Senators" from 1925-1930. Capitalize on the Silver Seven's success? But our "Rough Riders" came from 1898, and our team colours were straight from Roosevelt's regiment in the Spanish American war!
