I don't agree with that assessment - the Canucks are still uber soft.

Bieksa's gloves are glued on - he has more than 5 fights exactly ONCE in his career, and he rarely (if ever) fights legit guys.

Kassian's gloves are glued on too - he only had 5 fights per year his last two years in the OHL, and he had only 3 fights last year - don't expect him to reach 10... I'd be surprised if he had more than 5.

Volpatti or Desbiens is all you got left (they won't both have roster spots) and Volpatti is generally a punching bag.

Maybe there is hope in Edmonton? Finally, a guy in charge who doesn't believe Lennart Petrell is a legitimate roster player.
