Saw the post so I felt I should take a minute to say Thank You to the members here and especially Hump for all his great work !!!
I realize some of you may have been disappointed in the movie and to be honest its not an autobiography or like my book GOON, but that's Hollywood for you and I have no control over that, but its not every day that someone writes a book about me or makes a movie based on it so I'll take it.
I'll simply say I'm no different from any of you here....
I had a crazy dream to be a hockey fighter even though I never played organized hockey in my life.
I always knew I was over my head in most of my fights especially when I made it to he pro ranks and I say that because I had no experience like these guys did but I was truely confident in my punching ability... it was just my balance that was always in question.
I never claimed to be the best or the toughest I just wanted the chance to make a name for myself and believe me its a lot harder to do than you think.
Never the less thru hard work and determination...and plenty of cuts & bruises,

I was very fortunate to go a lot further than anyone ever imagined including me.
Again, Thank You for your support on both the book and movie and please don't ever hesitate to say Hello or ask a question.
