The couple that (legitimately) caught the ball appeared to be completely unaware of the kid. They said they would have given the ball to the kid if they knew what had happened. What more do you want?
Did you see the clip wherein the lady rips the ball right out of the kid's hands? That's the one I think deserves outrage.

This kid who is only around 3 years old know nothing about "center of attention" or being on TV...they are too young to understand any of that stuff. Hell he might doesn't even know anything about baseball.
