Holgrem has a beef but at the end of the day I would absolutley take these 3 over him.
Armstrong - Has an awesome core of young talent, but his team had a horrid record, I think 1 win over the first 2 and a half weeks. He made a great move bringing in Hitch and it has worked to the tune of almost winning the President's Trophy.
Poile - Always gets overlooked and yet has made and managed some bad situation with Weber and Suter well. Not to mention he recruited Radulov back from the KHL and got a true leader in Gaustad from Buffalo.
Tallon - Where do you want to start? Not only did he sign some 9-10 free agents he made it work, hired a coach who isn't a tool, and made hockey relevent again and not only that but has them a game away from the 2nd round of the playoffs. Can't say I ever saw that coming.
There are so many guys you can put here and I really have no problem with these 3. I feel like they did the best job, and if I had to put Holgrem in this group he would be 4th. I think the Bryz signing also is sort of what's holding him back in the voting here.
