I read another article the other day about the US wanting to use more of the dollar coins instead of dollar bills. I dont see how its cheaper to make those big honking coins? But whata I know.

I don't know if they're cheaper to make but I'm guessing it has to do with hoe a coin is much more durable and would stay in circulation a lot longer than a bill.
