I understand him not wanting to be a goon, and I understand what Snakey is getting at about the wrist. But come on, get tough once and while kid. If not fighting, how about hitting, and defending teammates. Many people overlook the fact that he was on the ice for the Lucic/Miller event.
A few scraps a year is fine, like other big d-men do.
