Like 2001 originally stated, I usually don't like putting much of the blame of bad play on coaches, but I think it needs to be looked into in this scenario. I just don't get it. How Bryz/Bob can play so inconsistent consistently is beyond me. Some of the goals each guy has let in have been beyond awful. Not to start piling on YO-EL for his daily Bryzgalov hate threads, but has he not noticed Bob's stats are worse? I think Bobrovsky has been just as much of, if not more disappointing than Bryzgalov. Bobrovsky who started off solid the begininng of last season has been on a downwired slide since then. We all seemed to agree that his downfall last season was due to the excessive play for a rookie. While Bryzgalov has been a let down, that was in part due to all of the hype us goalie starved Philly fans had for him. If you look at Brygalov's stats, this season is unlike him. Could one of them be having an off year? Obviously, each goalie has them. Could they BOTH just be having off years? I guess it is possible, but I think it is much more unacceptable in Bobrovsky's position than what it is for Bryzgalov. Bobrovsky was extremely promising, but has done nothing since his initial 2010-11 early season success. There seems to be a large number of fans on here who keep resorting to giving Bob the go ahead, he's young, develop him. But when you look at the numbers, he's been the worse of the duo this season. Not suopporting Bryzgalov for his terrible play though, either. I just think too many of us have placed to much hope for Bobrovsky. Obviously he is still young, but I don't think playing the young kid, especially now as the games are getting tougher, would be the wise choice. Then again, Bryzgalov doesn't necessarily look like a wise choice.
