My team, down a whole sh*t load of its best players, is playing hard, hitting, fighting, and losing on the scoreboard to some extent because of bad calls. I was happy that a powerplay resulted from Schenn's awesome hit; I fail to see what is "new NHL" about that.
I'm not a fan of the instigator penalty but it is a rule and that was a blatant example of it. Perfectly clean hit and as Schenn skates up the ice there's a guy with his gloves off waiting to fight him. I have no problem whatsoever with Kelly doing that but he knew he was gonna get called, which is why it was stupid, and why I was glad, because I want the Flyers to win the game.
More bullsh*t with a brutally quick whistle when the puck was clearly loose.
And it's 3-2 now. And the Flyers are outhitting the sh*t out of the Bruins.
