We all hate Tortorella and that's fine...but you guys are just blind with this whole Avery situation. Tortorellas hands are tied right now, Avery has to dress because the team would rather leave the young guys, Zuccarello included in the minors to get their ice time. The fact is, the Avery of 3+ years ago would make his presence known on his first shift. If he only played 45 seconds we would have known. And don't use the excuse that "he tried" or that he invited someone to fight, how many times in his career has he been challenged and not dropped the gloves? That's the respect issue and no one, without reason, is going to give him the satisfaction of fighting him to make his mark. He has to earn it and so far he has been invisible.

And don't call me an Avery hater...I was the first one losing my mind when they didn't re-sign him and I was the first one to sing the praises when they brought him back. The fact is he is not doing his job, his heart isn't in it, he's a cancer in the locker room, and a distraction to an already disorganized team.
