It looked like Clutterbuck was skating at him, Wiz just took at a shot at his head. It was partially protecting himself but he probably could have shoved him, I'm sure Clutterbuck would've dove to the ice anyway.
As a repeat offender, I could see a couple games but 8 regular season games way too much for that. Clutterbuck wasn't even injured.
