I would have loved to keep Brouwer but I blame overpriced goalies and a way overpriced defenseman that we got rid of a year too late (happy as hell he and his overpriced contract are finally gone) is what killed the Cup team.
Now if Hossa would stop getting injured and play a full season, he might be worth what they are paying him.
