Calgary, AB – The
Calgary Flames announced today the signing of forward
Curtis Glencross to a four year $10.2 million dollar contract.
Glencross, a native of Provost, Alberta, is coming off a career season with the Flames where he netted a career high 24 goals along with 19 assists for 43 points in 79 games. Glencrosss just completed his third season with the Flames and has amassed 142 points in 291 career games since entering the league in 2006-07 with the
Anaheim Ducks.
"It's nice to set myself with the season I had last year,” said
Curtis Glencross. “The confidence that the coaching staff and organization had in me helped as we moved forward through the year. Signing this new deal and knowing that the organization has faith me in is another confidence booster going into next season."
