Exactly, maybe they are impartial or don't care but usually if the only observation from a visit to LI is the friends and family of a Ranger fan, it's going to look overwhelming. Even if T800 went out a ton, it's still a misicule amount of people to see on an Island of this size. Unless he happened to do a hockey census he forgot to mention in his brief visits.
There is over 2.7 million people between Nassau and Suffolk counties alone (over 7 mil with Queens and Brooklyn included). After years of spending money on a team that has smacked it's fans in the face many times, people are going to be bitter and it's going to show in the attitudes and attendance of the fans that have been so loyal to them.
