I still remember when Taffe was supposed to be a can't miss prospect when he first came out of the NCAA - Phoenix got him in the Tkachuk trade from the Blues and I can recall people saying he could be the hidden gem in the deal. That was almost 10 years ago. He's since become nothing more than a minor leaguer, but I find it interesting to see his name keeping popping up in deals and signings - still some teams willing to kick the tires on him, see what he can bring to the table I guess.
