I'm sure if Neil was on this board he would probably take exception to the claim that it's not likely that the nut-spear affected the outcome of that fight. That's probably why Lucic "tuned him up" in their first fight too, right? Have you talked to Neil about it? Of course not, so how would you know how he feels about it? Stupid argument.

Yeah, not quite. A realist is able to see both sides of the story. Typically yours is negative and critical. If calling yourself a realist makes you feel better so be it. But how you respond to most discussions regarding Lucic is certainly not the definition of a "realist" in my books.

You obviously have selective memory. I have said positive things about Lucic on many occasions... hell, your a mod ... search my history. I'll be waiting for your apology.

Not necessarily. And furthermore it's just as ridiculous to claim Neil lost the fight because of that. Which is the point I was trying to make from the start.
Players do wear protection down there FYI. Of course I've played the game and I know you can still feel a good shot from a stick and it isn't pleasant by any means.

FYI? Yeah, no schitt. You're not the only one to have played hockey and many other sports. Let me get this straight ... you can feel it, and it's not pleasant .... but it is "ridiculous" to say that it may have had an affect on the outcome? Did you see Neils reaction?

But it isn't like Neil was smacked upside the head with a stick before getting into a fight.

You mean like Lucic/Lapierre?

I'd like to think someone would be able to look at the discussion at hand and be objective when discussing it. Then again I suppose that's what I'm getting with you being a "realist" and all...

Yeah, I'd like the same thing. If you think that
you are objective when it comes to Lucic, well ....
