Brian Burke, president and general manager of the
Toronto Maple Leafs, announced Wednesday that unrestricted free agent
Colton Orr has signed with the club. The right-winger signed a four year contract with the Maple Leafs.
Orr, 27, appeared in all 82 games for the
New York Rangers in 2008-09 and recorded a goal and four assists while leading the team with a career-high 193 penalty minutes. His penalty minute total was the third-highest in the NHL behind

The 6-3, 222-pound native of Winnipeg, Manitoba was originally signed by the
Boston Bruins as a free agent on September 19, 2001 and he was claimed on waivers by New York on November 29, 2005.
