If you are talking about a close game, then of course I understand why you wouldn't fight or retaliate, but the Wings play this way all year round. It isn't like they kick ass during the regular season and then ratchet it down and turn the other cheek during the playoffs in order to win. This is how they play ALL the time and is it a shock that guys on a FIGHTING website don't like the Wings???

Im not just talking about this game, but every game. And if im not mistaken wasn't the score 4-0 and Zetterberg scored the 5-0 goal on that powerplay? And a 4-0 game is far from over in the 2nd even a 5-0 game isn't impossible, (swedens comeback vs Finland in 2003 comes to mind). Especially against the Pens. Im not really trying to defend the Wings as a team as i think the Red Wings are the most frustrating team to like during the regular season, only Helms decision not to drop the gloves in this incident and not giving the pens what they want in this game. I respect your opinion but i just cant see how a fight is more important then a goal in the SCF, even if its already a 4-0 lead.
