You don't lie sprawled out on the ice with the puck still in your own zone. This is the type of sacrifice you need to make in the finals:

I've thought Crosby has done a lot of maturing from when he came into the league, but seeing him pull that crap in his own end was unacceptable.

Aside from that, Crosby had a great game when he needed to, and Malkin continued to play like a man possessed. He was generating chance after chance and started to take the body a little bit more. I can't believe someone here is claiming he was taking cheap shots. Wake up. The guy is raising his game to a higher level while playing the highest stakes of hockey, and to me that seemed to have included an increased willingness to get involved physically. Right now, Malkin looks unstoppable.

And if Crosby, who I think was trying hard earlier in the series without getting anything accomplished, can gain some confidence and momentum from his goal and beautiful assist tonight, then he should be a much tougher player for Detroit to deal with for the remainder of the series.
Thanks for the clip.

And I agree that "sickened" is the appropriate words to use.

What is the purpose of having a dive rule on the books if they arent going to call it?
