It won't take long for the Ducks to see what a horrible fighter he is unless he starts to exchange punches instead of wrestling. I won't miss him 1 bit.
Could be that O'Brien is on his way out, but Ohlund is an UFA come July 1st & won't be back. Also, Nycholat is on the IR & was going to be sent down once he gets off the IR. I think McIver has a chance of sticking next season, & hopefully getting a shot again this season.
The reason they didn't claim McIver is because they wanted to get rid of Brown. He hasn't been playing, & they had big hopes he'd be good, but he was brutal. This way, they only have to pay 1 contract, not 2.
