The
Colorado Avalanche Hockey Club announced today that the team has activated forward
Cody McCormick off the Injured Reserve list. He is expected to be in the lineup for tonight’s game against the
Toronto Maple Leafs.
McCormick, 25, has missed the past 15 games due to a foot injury. He was placed on IR, Dec. 30 (retroactive to Dec. 21). The London, Ontario native has recorded seven points (1g/6a) and a +2 plus/minus rating in 25 games for the Avalanche this season.
In a related move, the Avalanche also announced today that it has placed forward David Jones on Injured Reserve (retroactive to Jan. 27). Jones suffered a shoulder injury in Tuesday night’s loss to the
San Jose Sharks.
