Chicago Blackhawks have activated right wing
Adam Burish (6-1, 189) from injured reserve and have placed defenseman
Brent Sopel (6-1, 211) on the long term injured reserve list.
Burish, 25, has accrued 49 penalty minutes in 19 contests with the Blackhawks this season. The Madison, Wisconsin, native has missed each of Chicago’s last 14 games (Nov. 26 to Dec. 28).
Sopel, 31, has collected two points (G, A) and eight penalty minutes in 23 games with Chicago this season and 22 points (2G, 20A) and 36 penalty minutes in 81 contests with the Blackhawks over the last two years.
