Wow, this is an interesting thread. I missed it back in its original posting. It's hard to argue with any of the original posters' rationale or, for that matter, people who have contested some ranking or another along the way.

My only thought is that I think Gord Donnelly probably belonged in the top ten (Jets/Buffalo) somewhere along the line. And I think Terry O'Reilly was underrated in the original list. He was really good in his day. I think McKenzie should have been ranked higher during his Hartford stint and Tocchet during his first years at Philly. I like that Lyndon Byers got his props here. Nice thread.

It's amazing how many good fighters the league featured in that 85-95 period. Teams were three deep in good/experienced fighters. That was definitely the heyday when you look at those names and think of all the guys who didn't make the top 10 cut.
