I know exactly what you mean. When I was in Houston back in July I went to a sports store where they seemed to sell every kind of pro sports jersey going...except hockey. I looked everywhere and couldn't find one. I was bored (I was there with a friend who was buying shoes) so just for a lark I found an employee and asked him where I could find a
Dallas Stars jersey. The conversation went exactly like this:
Huffer: "Excuse me, where can I find a
Dallas Stars jersey?"
Employee: "Dallas Starters?"
Huffer: "No, Stars,
Dallas Stars"
Employee: "Starters???"
Huffer: "No STARS,"
Employee: "Ohhh, that's hockey, right?"
Huffer: "Yeah, hockey,"
Employee: "No, we don't have any of those, sorry,"
Pretty much what I had expected, but funny nonetheless.
