I met him once in St. Louis, and watched him play many years there. He was undoubtedly an incredible goal scorer, but that was about it. btw, he did get in 1 fight that I can remember.. I can't find it online anywhere though.
The one time I met him at a bar in St. Louis with
Kelly Chase.. he was friendly, but I didn't harass him and really make the effort to chat much.
He does seem to have a cocky side to him, especially with the media... since he retired.. but while he played in STL.. he seemed to have a good reputation.

Kelly Chase at a bar in STL after he got traded away from the blues.. he LOVED STL and prayed he'd get to come back, which he did a couple years later. What a nice, fun guy.. I talked to him for a good part of the night.. and we had some great laughs and stories.
