Can somebody help me out here? TSN keeps blabbing about how the Oilers appear to be frontrunners in the
Marian Hossa sweepstakes, or at the very least in the running. Apparanty they've offered close to 9 million/year.
But last time I checked the Oilers salary cap was sitting around 47-49 million bucks for next season. How the hell do they think they can can squeeze Hossa in without dumping some of their larger salaries?
Is anyone else hearing these Oiler/Hossa rumours from other sources? It just doesn't add up to me....
