You can't be serious. Fighters are certainly weary/fearful of other fighters. Trust me, a lot of guys were fearful of Probert, Brown, Kocur, etc. McCarty is no different. I just watched it again seven times and McCarty wanted nothing to do with Laraque, and it wasn't for any reason other than him being scared. Get over it.
