Edge Simmonds, but great overall energy,

Based on his karmic implosion,
I'm guessing that this Nystrom,
is no relation to the legendary Bob Nystrom.

And not just because of the hair, or lack of it...
but mainly because of that punk-a$$ move with the helmet
to start things off.

Sorry Eric, one more of those,
and you'll be entering Carcillo, Avery, Cooke, Lapierre territory.

They both looked like runaway windmills.

Great energy but sorry, can't help but laugh...great shadow-box drill by these two.
Nystrom should have lost the lid from the start.
Edge Simmonds...

Simmonds is tall but very thin for the NHL. He can really fight for a guy that size. I think he is swinging for the fences because Nystrom doesn't drop the lid. If you got one guy with a visor and one without, what is code? Simmonds lands more, but I think he lost his cool and could have done better had he not been trying land a monster shot. He gets Nystrom lid off early in the fight as it is. I don't see this as a draw at all Simmonds lands and Nystrom doesn't for the most part.

i'm sorry, i really am, but i loved this fight, i smiled the whole time. it had something to do with the D-bag announcers. simmons drops the bucket and lands the only couple of punches, so the win goes to him. i wish he could've fired a puck slapshot-style up into the box where the idiots were yakking.

I don't know how anyone can call that anything but a draw. You don't score points for punches that don't land.

I agree with b.t.wilson. Regardless of the idiot announcers it was an entertaining fight. Not your typical hockey fight, but Simmonds was swinging for the fences. Win Simmonds.

With all due respect to the great Bob Nystrom, I believe Mrs. Nystrom may have cheated with a spastic bald mailman.

"This is a barroom brawl not a hockey fight". I think that sums it up just fine. Simmonds barely wins because i think he landed the only punch despite about 30 punches thrown in that fight.
