I was going to rail on Cooke for picking on a non fighter, but he let up and called for the refs to step in. Obvious win by Cooke, but I'm surprised the homer Buffalo announcers didn't scream about how tough Pominville's grip was.

Cookie will never live down getting KTFO by a 170 pound teenager. now he's dancing with jay pominville. he'll be riding a bus to away games unless he mans up his agitator mojo a few notches.

hahah, jpoms did not want this... he did well to hold on. it would have been nice to see cooke just let it go, but he started throwing punches. meh. cooke with a win, but i'm just disappointed we didn't get to see orpik and gaustad go at it. would have been a much more intriguing bout

Cooke is a retard. Going after Pominville who's like the last guy that would want to fight. Real tough..***

Cooke calls in the refs/lineman to break it up. Cooke is a well-known fighter; Pominville is not. I didn't see anything that rates this as a win for Cooke. I give a narrow win to Pominville for a crappy fight.

Cooke, can't decide if I gained respect for Cooke for not pounding PVille or lost some because he couldn't punish him. JP did drop the gloves.

I feel bad for Pominville, he didn't want to dance, but i do give it for cooke for stopping the fight once he realized that pominville sits down to pee.

cookie wins the crap fight if he was able to fight a fight he would of dominated. orpik i say also won this one and talbot with the the choke hold and trying to grab a second man at the same time win pittsburgh all around not to mention the game to..

to everyone calling cookie an idiot or saying it was a bad move he cookie was being held in a head lock. till he got out.. anyone of you get headlocked and work your way out of it you would swing to until you realize the guy you are swinging at just **** himself

Ahh, Kaboom d-bag, the Pens have guys like Rupp, Asham, Engelland and Godard to "deal" with the Sabres toughness. In fact, it was a statement in and of itself that half those players did not even dress against such a soft team.
