Avery no doubt picked the fight after two quick goals by the Pens at the midpoint of the game. The Rangers scored a couple of minutes later so maybe the fight had the desired effect.

Kennedy was the first to throw the late one when they were down and Avery reacted to it. Kennedy was the one "who didn't want to stop."

I think its ok that he kept hitting him when he was down because Kennedy likely wanted to keep fighting on the ice as well. I know that if I had Avery on top of me that I would keep trying to fight before he got his vajayjay all over me.

Best part of this game was watching cheapshot Avery hit TK while down (as usual). Fleury tripping Avery and girlieman Avery gettin hit in the face with the puck and almost crying........Wonder why he wouldn't fight Engelland when he was offered at the end.??
